BlocOut Touch

The BlocOut Touch gives you proper blackout at an accessible price. Thanks to light-blocking side rails, a rubber seal and premium blackout fabrics, making it an ideal sleep aid providing a comfortable night’s sleep.

The extra safe design means the blind can be opened and closed by hand, removing the need for cords or chains. This makes it perfect for nurseries and children’s rooms.

Recess and Edge Fitting Positions

The BlocOut Touch offers two fitting positions – Recess and Edge.

The Recess Fitting Position is designed to fit within the window opening itself. With a minimum depth of 50mm from the handle, you can position the 3-sided frame anywhere within your recess.

The Edge Fitting Position is designed to sit on the front edge of the window recess, overlapping slightly on either side, offering a more seamless look.

If you have Tilt and Turn windows, the Surface fitting position available with BlocOut Plus and BlocOut Smart blinds is perfect choice for you.

How to Operate the BlocOut Touch Blind

The BlocOut Touch is operated by pushing the spring-mounted handle on the bottom of the blind and moving it up and down.

It is recommended that BlocOut blinds are retracted when windows are open.

Frequently asked questions

If I measure my blind wrong, can I return it?

All BlocOut blinds are made to measure, so unfortunately we are unable to accept returns. If you have any concerns on measuring, we advise purchasing Measure Protect insurance as this covers you for measurement errors.

What type of window does the BlocOut blind not fit?

The BlocOut has been made to fit a variety of window but is unsuitable for Victorian sash windows, angled recesses, inward opening windows or bay windows.

What is the Fabric changer?

The BlocOut Plus and BlocOut Smart includes the Fabric Changer as standard.  This system enables you to change your blind fabric in minutes without the need too re-measure. Simply unroll your fabric to find the unique ID, pick your favourite new fabric and email our customer service team hello@blocout.com to order. When your new fabric, arrives simply swap out the old one.

Do you offer finance/pay later options?

Yes, we offer two ‘pay later’ options. Klarna offers the ability to spread the cost into 3 interest-free instalments or pay in up to 30 days. DivideBuy offer the ability to spread the cost into monthly interest-free instalments between 6 to 12 months.
