BlocOut Plus

The BlocOut Plus gives you proper blackout thanks to light-blocking side rails, a rubber seal and premium blackout fabrics, making it an ideal sleep aid providing a comfortable night’s sleep.

Designed for larger windows, the Plus model fits openings up to 2400mm wide and 2400mm high. With the extra convenient motorised, remote-control option the BlocOut Plus is also great for those windows that are just out of reach. A chain operated system, with child-safe clips, is also available as an option.

For an extra finishing touch the BlocOut Plus includes the option to add a fabric pelmet onto the cassette, for enhanced aesthetics.

Finally, the BlocOut Plus includes Fabric Changer technology, as standard. This allows you to easily change your fabric from as little as £10. No measuring or tools required. Whether it’s an interior refresh, seasonal change or you simply fancy a new print, we have you covered.

Recess and Surface Fitting Positions

The BlocOut Plus offers 2 fitting positions – Recess and Surface.

The Recess Fitting Position is designed to fit within the window opening itself. With a minimum depth of 50mm from the handle, you can position the 3-sided frame anywhere within your recess.

The Surface Fitting Position mounts the side-rails and cassette on the outside of the window recess, directly on the wall. This Fitting Position is perfect for Tilt and Turn windows or for those who prefer to have ornaments on their windowsill.

Operation types

The BlocOut Plus can be operated by chain or alternatively by remote with the motorised option.

Child safe options

All BlocOut models have been created using our safe-by-design philosophy. 

The BlocOut Plus has a chain option as standard – the P clip is provided to securely fix the chain to the wall. This model also offers a child-safe motorised option, which enables you to operate the blind via remote.

Frequently asked questions

If I measure my blind wrong, can I return it?

If you add Measure Protect insurance in your shopping cart, and it turns out that your blinds are the wrong size, then we will replace your blinds for free. Terms and conditions apply. Otherwise, as BlocOut blinds are made to measure, we are unable to accept returns.

If you have any concerns on measuring, we advise purchasing Measure Protect insurance. The vast majority of blinds made based on measurements taken by our customers, fit perfectly.

What type of window does the BlocOut blind not fit?

The BlocOut has been made to fit a variety of window but is unsuitable for Victorian sash windows, angled recesses, inward opening windows or bay windows.

What is the Fabric changer?

The BlocOut Plus and BlocOut Smart includes the Fabric Changer as standard.  This system enables you to change your blind fabric in minutes without the need to re-measure. Simply unroll your fabric to find the unique ID, pick your favourite new fabric and email our customer service team hello@blocout.com to order. When your new fabric arrives, simply swap out the old one.

Do you offer finance/pay later options?

Yes, we offer two ‘pay later’ options. Klarna offers the ability to spread the cost into 3 interest-free instalments or pay in up to 30 days. DivideBuy offers the ability to spread the cost into monthly interest-free instalments between 3 to 12 months.
